Historical Temple “SUKHA MAHADEV”

The temple “sukha mahadev “is placed in sarabahal village of bilishankara Grampanchayat in sundarghar district . The name sukha Mohadev comes due to the water shortage in this area and under ground water level which is approximately below 800ft . The temple is placed in a semi rock area . Surrounding temple a few village house also present . Where temple manager and pujari is living with there family.in that temple .

Inside there house also a lot of wall painting made which will deffinately attracts alot of people .This temple is one of the best mordern temple. I ever came across. Temples architecture is refresh and too beautiful . This temple is looks likes chariot .there is 18 chakras on which temple is standing . On each corner of temple A god is present . In this sight of temple a God is present , The temple architecture is also very beautiful from inside . In the east side of the temple two OX statues are present in entrance of temple .In west side of temple two beautiful peacock statue present in entrance on temple. In the south side of the temple two Elephant statues are present in entrance of temple. The main “shivling” is discovering from a rock . Its a self made shivling . Inside the shivling area ( Garbha Griha) Lord shiva, Lord Ganesh ,Goddesh paravati statue also present .A copper made snake is surrounding the main shivling .At the time of shivRatri a lot of people came to this temple and also in  The month of sravan . A small but a peaceful and unrecognised temple .A lots of small God’s and Goddess statues are also present and it’s made with chakras and the chariot design , which makes the temple more attractive . This temple is till now is not famous , but it is varst and  worth visiting place a day as soon .

It’s located 132 km From Rourkela .Just infront of temple a small hills view are present .In this hills a small temple was located called as ” Maa Tarini ” . That is also a place to visit .peoples are go for picnic to this place in tarini temple , in there a small temple of Lord shiva is also presented . In where various of stories are often.

The way to go Take National Highway from Rourkela towards vedvyas , after reaching vedvyas take straight highway towards Sundergarh .After Badgaon chaawk . crossing 21 kms ,A Another chaawk was present called as karamdihi chaawk.Take right turn on the straight highway towards kunkuri, chattisgarh . After 24 kms .subdega village was reached there after 6 kms. The road is divided in two ways . One is going towards Talsara and another is going towards kunkuri.take the way of kunkuri towards straight highway road .after 5km . A small village reached as sarabahal .At sarabhal chaawk take towards left after 500mts All we shown this beautiful and historical temple called as “sukha mahadev temple”.  this place is captured lots of histories and miracles .
