The greatest threat and panic of this century is Corona. Covid-19. The scientists, leaders and physicians are not able to unveil the mysteries behind it. The whole of the world is scared of this invisible killer, they are panic-stricken and shrouded with mysteries. It is more horrible than the horrors of the world wars. The bloodshed of the wars has spared many to see the next dawn of life but this virus with its invisible touch has made humans as killers around him. Remedial measures have been able to liberate the mind from this invisible virus and gradually it is spreading its wings everywhere. The Wuhan city of China is its place of origin. The end of it is still unpredictable.
Janata Curfew (March 22), Lock Down (March 25t0 April 14) and now it is extended further. however, by whatever means the fatal effect of this Virus is less in India. Covering the face. Wearing of masks. Social distancing. Control in the use of vehicles. Opening of more testing zones. Construction of hospitals in the country and the state is a mere consolation as the remedy of this pandemic has not been found.
Still we are not fully conscious. We can protect ourselves in creating our own safety.Human resources have been exhausted, the so called great nations are helplessly surrendered to the situation. Gradually there is shortage of food. Communication problems, import and export problems, financial emergency. Survival for the poor and labourers have been badly affected by it, our mental strength. Respect to the call of the nation and the state. Self-discipline and social distancing can only help us we may be able to find victory over this problem.
What have we learned from this disaster?
‘’ all will be spiritual; all will pray God”, this is the time Lord to test us with our power to struggle by recreating the divine in us which was virtually lost being over-materialistic. Man has tried to enslave nature knowing not its power, being self-oriented he has become over-egoistic, proud with his sallow and hollow education will now learn that without divine power he is simply helpless. Korana is teaching us for transformation, to transcend ourselves from finite to infinite, for a journey of the soul rather than mind. We must learn peace and pity rather than violence, self-discipline, the joy and peace of solitude and isolation for self- introspection, unity in family life, love, affection and the power of intolerance. It is a lesson to the power lovers, to the nations to learn to be truly human, it is a call to be spiritually enlightened, to learn to spend what is required, moreover to learn the values and meaning of life through sufferings. It is a call for mutual help, respect and understanding between nations that we are one, only a human family. Let us come together to isolate ourselves from each other and learn the value of love, affection, mercy and pity by which we can be truly human. By which we can protect this beautiful world of God. When we shall feel that we are immortal children of God we can defeat death and we can defeat Corona.
