Bhubaneswar/Jajpur (SandhanNews) 35yrs young Odisha BSF Jawan found dead at Kelua river of local when he was come to bathing there. He was employed at Malkangiri, BSF camp.
The incident happened when Bikash Panda, the late Jawan had gone to the local river Kelua a tributary of Brahmani along with his friend for bathing on last Monday. Bikash slipped and drowned in the deep water as per friend statement. Locals fire team of Bari and Badachana reached there and able to rescue Bikash at Benapur river bank of Kendrapara district searching more than five hours. His dead bodies recovered after some time in the same day and admitted to him in Bari CHC local hospital of the district. Doctor declared found dead. Local Police filled a case and sent dead body to district hospital Jajpur for Postmortem.
The last Samskar of as a Hindu rituals performance of Late Bikash has been done as per local traditionally yesterday in his village Nathapur with presence of Villagers, Relatives and local Leaders.
Bari MLA Smt. Sunanda Das, BJP Leader Biswaranjan Mallik of Bari, Sarapanch Dharpur & Chandanpur, Ashok Samal (Zillaparishad Member), Smt .Subasini Nath Sharma , Chairperson Bari Panchayat Samiti were Present in the funeral and convey their last tributes.
As per information Bikash had came to village in his leave period to enjoy holidays on last February and unable to return back to his job point due to the lock-down . Bari MLA Smt. Sunanda Das has extended her condolence to the bereaved family.
