Four police personnel under Dharmasala Police Station have been suspended for consuming liquor inside a police outpost of Jaraka. Constable Tapan Das and Sanjay Bhol, Odisha Auxiliary Police Force (OAPF) personnel Benudhar Khatua and Ananta Samal are in this suspension list.
As per information, SP Sri Rahul P R was returning to Jajpur from Cuttack on last February 19. During his journey he had noticed a huge crowd on the road near Jaraka Square and soon he had gone a surprise visit to the Jaraka outpost nearby the incident. The Superintendent of Police during his surprise visit found these four staffs were taking liquor. SP had ordered for a medical test and forwarded them to the Dharmasala Police Station.
