Rourkela, 26/09/2020 (Sandhannews) : On Thursday night, seven people were arrested by the police of Uditnagar police station in a bloody clash between Malgodam Sardar Basti and Muslim Basti. On Friday, the women of Sardar Basti laid siege to Uditnagar police station, opening a front against the police. The women alleged that Kai was not involved in the clash among those arrested by the police. Despite this, between two and three o’clock in the morning of Friday, the police forcibly entered the houses and arrested the relatives. While the youth of the Muslim colony involved in the clash are roaming freely.
During this time, the women blocked the road outside the main gate after being removed from the police station premises. The women allege that the police is threatening that some more people will be arrested in the case.
