Bhubaneswar, (Sandhan News)on last Sunday the Odisha State Government has suspended a lady OAS officer Anisha Das who was the deputy collector of Kalahandi District for her negligency findings in the Government duties.
Miss Das had joined in Kalahandi on last 23rd of this month after transferring from Betanati Tahasil, Mayurbhanj District.
As per information the Governor of Odisha, in excersise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Sub Rule-12 of OCS (CC&A) Rules, 1962, hereby places the said Miss Anisha Das, OAS-A (JB), Ex-Tahasildar, Betanati, Dist: Mayurbhanj, at present- Deputy Collector, Collectorate, Kalahandi under suspension with immediate effect,” said an official communique issued by the State Revenue and Disaster Management Department.During in the suspension, the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officer will report at the Kalahandi Collectorate and must not leave the headquarters without the District Collector’s permission.
Miss Das, during her stint as Tehsildar in Betanati, was accused of demanding bribe from a truck owner, who lodged a complaint against her at a police station.
